In 2017, Aniela raised $25,000 for the Sweet Relief musician’s charity when she played for 27 straight hours, unofficially beating the current Guinness World Record in marathon cello playing. Currently, Ms. Perry directs the Whidbey Island Waldorf School’s strings program, serves as principal cellist with the Saratoga Orchestra and performs frequently with her chamber group, Trio Rasa. Additionally, she is pursuing advanced studies in instrument and bow repair and offers these services, as well as private lessons out of her shop, Tiny House of Strings in Freeland, WA.

This is Aniela’s first season with NYSA in the role of Program Manager for Salish Youth Symphony in Langley on south Whidbey Island.
